For more than five years, a significant part of my role has been producing and directing video. At HITT, we leveraged video internally through our company-wide quarterly meetings and externally on our social platforms. I oversaw each video production from conception through completion and depending on budget and time constraints, I filmed and edited the project, or I hired an agency.
In 2022 I led the development of an in-house media studio and video production team responsible for producing 15-20 minute weekly company news segments. My role shifted to a more directorial role and my responsibilities included segment ideation, creative direction, and providing critical feedback and edits to the team.
work hard, stay humble
Designed for digital advertising and internal branding, the Work Hard, Stay Humble video aims to differentiate HITT from it’s competitors and communicates how working for and with HITT is different in just 90 seconds. The video tells the story of what we do, how we do it differently than other builders, and why it’s an amazing experience to be a part of as both a client or team member. With a focus defining HITT’s core values through storytelling, this video depicts the values of entrepreneurship, the American dream, dedication, passion, professionalism, service, innovation, and achievement. As creative lead, I carefully chose the talent to reflect the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion; the actors range in age, gender, ethnicity, body type, style, and even physical abilities.

co|lab launch teaser
In 2019 I was tasked with creating a video to generate some buzz about the opening of our state-of-the-art facility, CoLab. The goal was to visualize what CoLab stands for: a place of infinite possibilities, where curiosities are satisfied, limits are tested, and new avenues are explored. Somewhere that team members, industry colleagues, and community members can come together to learn and discover alongside one another—challenging what we know and working to elevate the business of building. Since the building had not been occupied yet, to me it was a blank canvas. I was fortunate enough to work with an amazing team of filmmakers that didn’t roll their eyes when I explained my vision: I wanted to project moving pictures on the walls. After two nights of filming past midnight, the team was able to bring my vision to life and we created this amazing 90-second video.

quarterly meetings
Throughout the year one of my largest undertakings is managing the videos for our quarterly meetings. The main purpose of these meeting is to provide a company update to all team members across the country but to deliver in an engaging and entertaining way.
